Port of Toledo Paddle Park

Recreational boaters enjoy the non-motorized boat launch paddle park which is located at mile marker 10 on North Bay Road, adjacent to a 25-acre protected wetlands area on the Yaquina River, also owned by the Port of Toledo. This day-use park and launch area, funded by the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department, offers a park setting with a gazebo, picnic table, restrooms, wildlife viewing & interpretive signage, as well as a dock and pier for non-motorized boat launching and day use. It is a great place to spend the day for kayakers, canoeists, families and wildlife enthusiasts.

Visitors will see how the Port staff used lumber milled from the nearly 100 year old piles pulled from Depot Slough in many ways at the park, including the pier, fencing, and the picnic gazebo. Local metal sculpture artist Sam Briseno added the finishing touch on top of the gazebo with a heron-in-flight wind vane.
