Port of Toledo Waterfront Development Strategic Plan

On June 19, 2007, the Port Commission officially adopted the Waterfront Development Strategic Plan for development of its properties along Depot Slough. This plan, prepared by Cook & Associates, focuses on enhancing use of the waterway as well as job creation through light industrial & commercial development. Included in the plan are green spaces with pathways along the water, public use and access areas, and designated building sites for new & existing operations with established design criteria, that integrates the waterfront with our community and its history & character. This plan acts as a tool allowing the Port to actively market the properties and pursue funding to complete an attractive and efficient upland area.

This planning was made possible through a grant from Port Planning & Marketing through Oregon Economic & Community Development Department.
