

2018 Wooden Boat Show Poster Release
The Port of Toledo is pleased to announce the release of its 2018 Wooden Boat Show Poster. This year’s poster features Uno, a 124 year old wood hull steamboat. Originally built as a rowboat in 1894 on Lopez Island, Washington by a Norwegian immigrant, Uno was converted to a gas engine in 1906, then purchased and turned into a steamboat in the 1960’s. The Port of Toledo’s Wooden Boat Show is held annually on the 3rd weekend of August. This is a free, family-friendly, weekend event to celebrate Toledo’s boat building heritage. Wooden boats from through the northwest are on display ranging from kayaks and canoes to workboats and pleasure craft.
