Happy Holidays!

The Port of Toledo's Staff and Commissioners wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year! 2017 has been a busy year for us and we are anticipating an exciting 2018.

We would like to thank everyone that supported the Port and our Boatyard this year. This has been our first full year of boatyard operations with our new 660 ton lift and it has been a year of growth with added employees and equipment.

This year we completed the walking path along Depot Slough. With the help of Angell Job Corps' masonry crew over 55,000 pavers were installed, completing a path between Main Street, our Marina, Waterfront Park and Pavilion, and NW 1st Street. This project was funded through a Grant form Oregon State Parks Local Government Grant Program.

We also celebrated construction of our 2nd boath house for the Toledo Community Boathouse. This is our Boating Recreation and Education Center that provides free boating opportunities. The boathouse was built and is ran by volunteers from the Retired Old Guys Sailing Club. The boathouse was constructed reusing materials from the Port, but we are very grateful for a Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund grant to purchase the new materials needed for construction. Our other accomplishments this year include rebuilding the boardwalk at our Marina, repairing our industrial building that sustained damage from a fire, starting work on an updated Strategic Business Plan, and hosting our 13th annual Wooden Boat Show. We are looking forward to commencing work on our new Boatyard Work Building in 2018.
