Award from Cascades West Council of Governments for Project of the Year

On November 2, 2017 Port representatives attended Oregon Cascades West Council of Government's Celebrate Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Regional Awards and Recognition Dinner. The event, Celebrate LBL, brought together more than 150 local community, business leaders, regional stakeholders, and elected officials. Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments presented its State of the Region report, presented awards in order to recognize excellence within the region, and raised money for the Meals on Wheels program.

We are honored to have received the award for Project of the Year for the expansion of our Boatyard, in recognition of its economic impact to the region. Port Manager Bud Shoemake was accompanied by Port Commissioners Mike Kriz and Zack Dahl, and Business Oregon's Ports Manager, Dave Harlan to accept the award.
