The Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show is pleased to present an exciting variety of live music at its 14th Annual Wooden Boat Show on August 18th and 19th. Bands will perform at the Waterfront Park pavilion stage Saturday, August 18, 10:00 am until 6:30 pm and on Sunday, August 19, 11:00 am until 3:30 pm. The Port of Toledo’s Waterfront Park is located at 127 NW A Street, Toledo Oregon.
Oregon coast groups include Malarkey Stiles, Skip Jones and Paul Biondi, Frans Paul and the Beaches, the Bad Weeds, the Foulweather String Band and Weird Science.
Kathy Boyd & Phoenix Rising from Salem will play Saturday at 5:15pm - 6:30pm. The award winning group performs original roots music, and has received two 2017 Josie Music Awards nominations – Bluegrass/Folk/Americana Song of the Year (Let Her Roll) and Bluegrass/Folk/Americana Group of the Year. In 2018 they received a silver Global Music Award for their sixth release, “40 Years of Lonesome” in the categories of lyrics/songwriters and album.
Lady Kat and Vicki Stevens of Portland will perform Sunday at 2:15pm - 3:30pm. These two powerful women are returning to the Wooden Boat Show with their own style of funk, soul, and rhythm & blues, and should not be missed!
The Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show is a free, fun, family event with something for everyone. This year’s show will feature steamboats exhibited by members of the Northwest Steam Society. Attend for the live music and enjoy the show’s other festivities: boat building, GP Container Board Boat race, kids’ activities, food, boat rides, vendors and lots more. The show is located at the Port’s Marina and Waterfront Park at 127 NW A Street, Toledo, Oregon. Hours are Saturday, August 18, from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, August 19, 10 am to 4 pm.
