Record attendance at the 14th Annual Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show

The 14th Annual Wooden Boat Show had record attendance. The Port of Toledo thanks everyone that came to the Wooden Boat Show this past weekend to view the wood boats that were on display and welcome the Northwest Steam Society. Visitors to the Boat Show were able to ride in steamboats, watch the Georgia Pacific Containerboard Boat Race on Saturday afternoon and a Steam Boat parade on Sunday afternoon. They paddled boats in the poker paddle, watched families build their own boats and paddleboards, and visited vendor booths along the boardwalk and in Waterfront Park while enjoying live music.

The Port of Toledo and the Wooden Boat Show Committee would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of the show including community volunteers and the show’s sponsors: Georgia Pacific, Oregon Coast Bank, Federal Relations, Toledo Ace Hardware, Dahl Disposal Service, Englund Marine, Fishpeople Seafood, Rogue, Siletz Boat Works, Bigfoot Beverage Distributors, Toledo Dental Care, Carson Oil, Alan Brown Tire Center, Toledo Feed and Seed, JC Market, and donors to the silent auction.

Save the date for the 15th Annual Wooden Boat Show, the third weekend in August, 17-18, 2019. For more information and photos from this year’s show visit: https://www.portoftoledo.org/wooden-boat-show.
