Port Of Toledo

The Port of Toledo, Oregon was established in 1910 in order to develop marine commerce.  The original Commission's first goal was to establish a 14' deep channel from the Yaquina Bay to Depot Slough to support the movement of wood products.

In 1977 Elmer Price authored History Port of Toledo to document the Port's first 67 years.

To celebrate the Port's centennial, Historian Jim Hitchman, wrote The Port of Toledo, Oregon  1910-2010 to celebrate the Port's anniversary.
