PROPERTIES AND SERVICES
The Port of Toledo operates a number of public recreational facilities as well as industrial and commercial properties in support of the goals stated in its mission statement. Recreational properties include a free boat launch ramp; the Paddle Park, a park specifically designed for kayak and canoe paddlers; Waterfront Park, which features a pavilion with stage; and a viewing platform along Depot Slough. The Port offers a Marina with annual, semi-annual and monthly rates, as well as a Transient Dock with a pump-out dump station. Port owned Industrial and Commercial property accommodate local small businesses, with units available for lease and a secured storage yard for vessel or recreational vehicle storage. The Port also has industrial property available for development, for information contact the Port Manager.
The Waterfront Recreation and Education Center or “WREC” is the second boathouse. It is on the North side of Port of Toledo Marina. It's provides instructional space and boat storage for kayaks and other small boats.
